Job Purpose (Accountability)

• Provide engineering advice/support, engineering changes and upgrade to Maintenance regarding aircraft and relevant technical issues to ensure all maintenance implementations are beneficial and meet highest level of safety, reliability, passenger comfort, and are cost effective and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties /

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and follow up aircraft technical documents, procedures and regulations to assist superior for decision making in solving problems, spare part calculations or other technical issues including taking the information to set up and prepare engineering documents/procedures for aircraft maintenance and operation.

• Resolve aircraft special technical problems which are not in manual to diagnose problem correctly then manage and provide solution for correct action which always keep safety and airworthiness of aircraft.

• Provide technical advice or information to other divisions in company to assist them to perform their job correctly without any technical difficulty.

• Coordinate with other divisions to centralize information on technical issues for any technical process and distribute necessary information to involved divisions.

• Monitor any aircraft technical issues and plan for required preventive actions in order to maintain continued airworthiness and increase technical reliability and to reduce operational interruption or reduce flight delay/cancellation.

• Prepare, study, and participate in technical project to increase company technical capability for long term cost saving, profitability and growth of the company.

• Communicate with aircraft and component manufacturer on technical issue in order to get or provide technical information and negotiate with them in any technical issue that will be beneficial to the company

• Carry out all concerned duties regarding Quality, Safety & Security required by the company.

• Communicate information policies, strategies correctly and effectively to all employees in order to apply in practic

• Responsible for his/her career, self-development and continuous learning, which include participation in performance management system, training, knowledge management activities, and other development activities provided by the organization.
