About the role

Mit Mongkol Industry Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and oversee our engineering operations. This is a full-time position based in Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role is pivotal to our company's success, as you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and business objectives, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all engineering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams, including hiring, training, and performance management of engineering staff

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects in accordance with timelines and budgets

• Develop and implement engineering strategies and processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements across all engineering activities

• Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of work

• Communicate with stakeholders, clients, and senior management regarding project status, risks, and outcomes

• Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks in project delivery

• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement

• Manage engineering budgets and control costs without compromising quality

• Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and best practices within the industry

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3-5 years in a management or supervisory capacity

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards

• Proven experience in project management and successful delivery of complex engineering projects

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen

• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with budget management and cost control

• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance standards

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Strong organisational and time management skills
