About the role

Thai Garment Export Co., Ltd. is seeking an

Industrial Engineering Executive (Garment Manufacturing)

to join our engineering team in Nonthaburi. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement across our garment production facilities. As an Industrial Engineering Executive, you will be responsible for enhancing production efficiency, reducing costs, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to maintain our competitive edge in the global garment export market. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between production demands and operational excellence, ensuring that our manufacturing processes remain at the forefront of industry standards.

Key responsibilities

Analyse current production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction

Design and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise garment production workflows

Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures and performance benchmarks

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production efficiency, quality metrics and resource utilisation

Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions

Plan and manage capital equipment projects, including layout design and machinery selection for manufacturing lines

Prepare detailed reports and present recommendations to senior management on process improvements and investment proposals

Train and mentor production supervisors and operators on new processes and efficiency initiatives

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment

Liaise with quality assurance teams to balance production targets with product quality requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in industrial engineering within the garment, textile or manufacturing sector

Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies

GSD User Certification will be an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with industrial engineering software and data analysis tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex production data

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or MES systems is advantageous

Strong communication skills in English and Thai, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences

Project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing and quality control, is highly desirable
