About the role

This role combines FX Sales and Fixed Income investment responsibilities. You will manage client FX requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain customer relationships. You will also manage the branch's fixed income investment book, ensuring alignment with profitability targets and risk parameters.

Key responsibilities

Quote and deal customer FX requirements

• Ensure FX regulatory requirements are adhered to

• Manage customer relationships

• Prepare daily FX rates for branch and internal and external customers

• Relief other FX Sales dealers

• Ensure that securities invested are in line with risk parameters

• Invest to ensure profitability and gain for branch's FVOCI book

• Participate in bond auctions where required

• Monitor applicable bond position and limits and report any excess or breach of limit

• Attend meetings and discussions in RHB TH Treasurer's stead

About you

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FX Sales, Treasury, or Fixed Income investment

• Strong understanding of financial markets, FX products, and fixed income instruments

• Proficient in FX quoting and dealing systems

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to FX and securities trading

• Familiarity with bond auctions and fixed income portfolio management

• Strong analytical skills for monitoring positions, limits, and risk parameters

• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

• Proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting tools
