The purpose of the Consultant in Tax and Legal Department is to deliver high-quality advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations while optimizing their tax strategies. The role involves providing expert legal guidance on various corporate matters, supporting clients through complex tax issues, and helping them navigate the regulatory environment effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as an experienced tax and legal advisor to clients across industries on a range of legal services and offerings

• Assist in monitoring multiple client engagements and serve as a business advisor to the clients.

• Supervise and aid in the appraisal, development and training of junior employees

• Research, write, and review client advice relating to domestic and international matters.

• Monitor and convey to client's information regarding technical developments as well as their application to local and international tax and legal issues.

• Assist with business development for the expansion of services at existing clients and for attracting new client work collaboratively with other practice groups within tax and the firm.

• Meeting and negotiation with government departments re tax and legal issues (e.g. BOI, Foreign Business License, Customs)

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate taxation and legal advice

• Bachelor's degree in law

• Master's degree/ Thai Barrister/ Lawyer license required

• Proven client management skills

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Strong communication and presentation capability.

• Ability to thrive in an international environment.

• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
