Your key responsibilities

  • To work with audit team for review financial report related to impairment testing including goodwill from business acquisitions, fixed assets, investment, fair value of investment and recommendation to develop based on accounting standard and valuation practice
  • To provide EY independent recalculation related to discount rate and discount cashflow projection for calculating impairment related
  • To provide insight research from internal and external sources for impairment of assets
  • To provide recommendation to audit team for impairment testing and fair value of assets
  • Support ad hoc projects involving industry and financial insights
  • Perform other tasks that support audit teams with financial and non-financial data

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance with an interest in valuation, including asset impairment testing and investment fair value measurement
  • Basic understanding of business valuation concepts
  • To be able to use Microsoft excel formular to calculate finance fields such as PV,FV,NPV, IRR,RATE, etc.
  • Interested in explore and learning in various new nature of business industries
  • To be able to coordinate with internal EY audit teams
