Senior Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Partnership Development:

    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance our product/service offerings.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to negotiate and finalize business agreements.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:

    • Utilize analytical tools to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

    • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Proactively address obstacles to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, accounting, and product development teams to align business strategies and objectives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Budgeting and Finance:

    • Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
    • Analyze financial data to make informed decisions and recommendations for cost optimization.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Developer or in a similar role within the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
