KPMG in Thailand's Financial Risk Management (FRM) Banking Advisory team advises financial institutions on risk management frameworks, models, systems, and regulatory requirements. Our work covers a wide range of areas, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, stress testing, risk modeling, model validation, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for motivated and analytical interns who are eager to gain hands-on experience and work alongside experienced professionals on real client engagements.

Roles and responsibilities

• Support project teams in credit risk model development, implementation, and validation activities, such as ECL under IFRS 9 standard or credit scoring model

• Assist in data analytics activities, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, quality checks, and basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python

• Participate in the preparation of analyses, presentations, working papers, and reports for client

• Support our staff to perform stress testing, portfolio analysis, and other quantitative risk management projects

• Work closely with consultants and managers to understand how risk models and frameworks are applied in real-world banking environments

• Attend project meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to develop technical and consulting skills

Qualifications and Skills

• 3rd - 4th year students in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Robotic & AI or related fields

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai

• Proficiency in programming and data tools.

• Strong PowerPoint skills

• Strong communication and presentation capability

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadline
