We are looking for an

SAP MM Consultant

who can take ownership of SAP MM functional work, support business users, analyze requirements, configure system settings where applicable, resolve issues, and support SAP implementation, enhancement, and support activities within the PTT Group.

Job Responsibilities

SAP MM Implementation, Enhancement and Support

Participate in SAP MM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and system improvement projects.

Support requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.

Translate business requirements into SAP MM functional solutions and coordinate with technical teams for development or integration where required.

Perform SAP MM configuration or system setting changes where applicable, such as

Purchasing Group, Plant, Storage Location, Movement Type, Material Type, Document Type, Release Strategy

, and related settings.

Support integration with related SAP modules such as

FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, PM

, and other connected systems.

Support SIT, UAT, defect tracking, user sign-off, cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare support.

SAP MM Functional Support

Provide hands-on functional support for

SAP MM, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Material Management

processes.

Support key SAP MM processes such as

PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Stock Transfer, Inventory Transactions, Material Master, and Vendor Master

Analyze user requirements, business issues, and system problems, then provide suitable SAP solutions or recommendations.

Investigate SAP MM issues, identify root causes, test solutions, and follow up until issues are fully resolved.

Coordinate with SAP Functional, Technical, ABAP, Basis, Security, and related teams to resolve system issues.

Provide guidance to business users on SAP MM processes, system usage, and best practices.

Documentation, Training and Continuous Improvement

Prepare and maintain functional documents, configuration documents, test scripts, user manuals, issue logs, operation guides, and project status reports.

Provide user training, guidance, and knowledge transfer related to SAP MM processes.

Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions or process improvements.

Support continuous improvement in procurement, inventory, reporting, control, and operational efficiency.

Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM best practices, procurement trends, inventory management, and related technologies.

Vendor Coordination

Coordinate with external vendors or implementation partners when vendor support is required for specific project, enhancement, or support activities.

Review and follow up vendor deliverables where applicable, such as issue analysis, functional specifications, test results, or support resolution.

Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure deliverables are aligned with business requirements, agreed scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Support issue follow-up, clarification, and communication between business users, internal SAP teams, and vendors when needed.

Job Specifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Engineering (GPA ≥ 2.75), or Engineering (e.g., Computer Engineering, IT Engineering) with a GPA ≥ 2.5. A Master's degree will be an advantage.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience working with SAP Material Management (MM) or related SAP modules, with basic understanding of non-SAP systems and experience supporting system implementations.

Experience in

SAP MM Functional, SAP MM Support, SAP MM Implementation, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, or Supply Chain

Hands-on experience in SAP MM processes such as

PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Inventory Management, Material Master, and Vendor Master

Good understanding of

Procure-to-Pay process

and integration with related SAP modules.

Experience in SAP MM configuration, requirement gathering, UAT, go-live, post go-live support, or enhancement projects would be an advantage.

Knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or related ERP systems would be an advantage.

Experience coordinating with vendors or external consultants would be an advantage.

Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work independently, take ownership, and follow up tasks until completion.

TOEIC Score Required at least 550.
