Strategic Access Manager - Oncology

Strategic Access Manager : Oncology is responsible for the activities and deliverables to obtain and maintain Market Access, reimbursement, and optimal pricing. This includes initiation on the development and execution of access strategies, alignment and integration of global and local brand strategies and delivery of key value propositions to external payer customers and influencers.

  • Heath Policy and Health System Dynamics Has a holistic understanding of health systems and health policy related to medicine and vaccine, with a deep and specific knowledge of pricing, reimbursement, funding and procurement processes. Has the ability to navigate and shape these mechanisms to create a positive environment, receptive to our value offerings
  • Payer Value Drivers Understands needs, interests and drivers of value for payers and their key influencers. Brings these external stakeholder perspectives into Pfizer
  • Delivers with Stakeholders Executes and implements strategies and plans with stakeholders, and manages the operating environment.
  • Evidence generation and Analytics Ability to generate and use evidence to support development and deployment of product value strategy to ensure optimal product access and uptake

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute comprehensive Market Access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities.
  • Design, develop and implement an integrated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity (LOE).
  • Communicate the unique attributes of the therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external multi-stakeholders to ensure the medicine’s/vaccine’s value proposition will be recognized and maximize market uptake.
  • Work collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers and other decision-makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties.
  • Develop strategic studies with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results (when positive) will favorably impact pricing, reimbursement and market access as well as market uptake.
  • Conduct HTA research and design pricing strategy
Key Deliverables:
  • Development (and execution, as applicable) of portfolio Market Access plans
  • Development (and execution) of product Pricing, Access and Reimbursement strategies
  • Development and delivery of dossier submissions
  • Development of Product-specific Payer Value Propositions
  • Development of alternative market access approaches to accelerate formulary inclusions and increase demand
  • Local adaptation of global HTA/HEOR materials (e.g. value dossiers and propositions, cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models) where possible and development of local materials/models/data where not

Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Experience in Market Access or HEOR
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw insights
  • Strong comprehensive of HTA methods and publication interpretation and ability to use evidence to support reimbursement decision and optimal pricing
  • Demonstrated project leadership, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority
  • Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop recommendations for decision-making or action
  • Strong command of Thai & English, spoken and written
Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree
  • Prove tracking record of achieving reimbursement or access expansion in CSMBS, NLEM/NLEV
