Treasury Accountant
atChevron (Thailand) Limited- Treasury Functions
- Coordinate with Global/Regional Treasury Group and relevant banks relating to treasury/banking transaction.
- Ensure that all banking and treasury transactions such as Daily Cash Reports, Fund Transfers, Long Term and Short-Term Borrowings (foreign and local currencies) are properly performed.
- Monitor compliances to local banking regulations, and advise Regional Treasury Group of any new and/or changes in local banking regulations and/or related tax issues.
- Prepare and submit survey report to Bank of Thailand (BOT) on quarterly and annually basis.
- Coordinate directly with banks, cashiers, Business Units, Finance Group, MSSC and other groups to ensure timely resolution of issues related to cashiering/banking. Provide feedbacks and resolution on customer concerns.
- Managerial Foreign Currency Transactions and Inter-company Accounts
- Review inward remittance in foreign currency, and match the foreign currency receipt against obligations in order to manage foreign currency
- Prepare BOT form to report inward and outward remittance transactions to comply with BOT regulations
- Prepare withholding tax / Value Added Tax payment request and its form for outward remittances in foreign currency that are subjected to tax, and present to Revenue Department
- Preparing and Computing Withholding Tax(WHT)
- Analyze and coordinate with Account Payable for Withholding Tax Report that proceeds for payment through SAP
- Coordinate with Business Units (Credit and Card Marketing) for Withholding Tax report that proceeds through customer clearing
- Collection Processes
- Ensure that collections from competitors are completely on-time. Coordinate with related BUs and competitors in resolving any problems and preventing delay payment receipts.
- Record payment receipts from employees/one-time customer into SAP.
- SOX Compliance, Account Reconciliations, Local Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Others
- Assist Manager in SOX testing/review, and ensure the SOX deadlines are met
- Handle documentation and review flowchart of risk control related to assigned responsibility
- Coordinate data request from Auditor, send bank confirmation to all banks, and manage follow up with bank to have submission on time
- Ensure that all the accounts under responsibility are reconciled and complied with the guidelines
- Project and Works Assignment
- Responsible for special project assignments in Finance BU. Handle special work/assignment of supervisor and Finance BU
- Perform back up for Account Payable staff with absence
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences in Accounting/Finance field
- Ability to work and manage multiple tasks under time constraint and pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good command in Thai and English (speaking, writing, listening and reading)

- SAP knowledge would be an advantage
