Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Markets Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for managing operational processes related to global markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing workflow efficiency, and providing excellent support to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics or related field
• 8years of experience in Global Markets Operations, with a proven track record of managing teams and operational processes
• Experience in banking or financial services with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance

• In depth knowledge of global financial markets, including money markets, equities, fixed income,
  FX, and derivatives

• Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and reporting
• Strong understanding of Global Markets products & processes, accounting, reporting, financial concepts, regulatory requirements and tax laws
• Resourceful, energetic, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated for success
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, hands-on process and positive attitude
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with automation and system enhancements in an operational context
• Knowledge of Straight-Through Processing (STP) and best practices in operational efficiency
• Familiarity with regulatory bodies and compliance requirements related to Global Markets

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team to ensure good overall controls as well as to build/maintain efficient processes for Global Markets, including money markets, equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and other financial
  products

• Ensure that all operations comply with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., BOT, SEC, SET, AMLO etc.) and internal policies and procedures
• Provide timely and effective end to end operation support to all relevant stakeholders, maintaining a high sta dard of quality service
• Ensure operations efficiently support new business initiatives/products in a timely manner
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and internal reporting, and assist with audits and compliance checks
• Manage securities clearing and settlement processes for both domestic and international markets
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, including reconciliation of accounts, funding, FX positions, and general ledger entries
• Review existing operations workflow to improve efficiency and control, minimize operational risk and recommend streamlined workflows for efficiency or Straight-Through Processing (STP)

• Lead and deliver projects to improve operational efficiency, collaborating with IT and other departments for
  system enhancement and successful implementation

• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing operational support and resolving issues promptly
• Develop methods/toolsto ensure operational processes are properly supervised and monitored for productivity, efficiency and timeliness
• Foster a positive team environment, maintaining high morale and promoting effective teamwork
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the organization's goals
