About the role

The Accounting Manager leads the overall accounting, financial, tax, and cost management functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support management decision-making. This role involves developing and overseeing accounting policies, standards, and financial reporting practices for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with TFRS and applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall accounting, financial, tax, and cost management functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support management decision-making.

• Review and oversee financial statements, tax accounts, management accounts, and consolidated financial statements, and provide in-depth financial analysis and management reports.

• Establish and oversee Manufacturing Cost Accounting and Standard Costing, including Cost Variance Analysis, and work closely with Production, Sales, and related functions to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for the Group, including Transfer Pricing, BOI privileges, bonded warehouse, and import/export tax incentives, ensuring tax efficiency and full compliance with applicable laws.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor Budget vs. Actual performance, providing financial insights to support business strategy and operational planning.

• Establish and strengthen internal controls covering financial processes, assets, and inventory, and oversee annual external audits in coordination with auditors and relevant authorities.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost improvement opportunities, manage financial risks, and enhance overall business performance.

• Drive the implementation and enhancement of ERP, BI, Automation, and Digital Accounting solutions to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering strong performance, professional capabilities, and a culture of continuous improvement.

About you

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 10-13 years of relevant accounting experience, with proven experience in a managerial or equivalent leadership role.

• Strong experience in Manufacturing / Cost Accounting; experience in the textile, garment, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in TFRS, Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing, and BOI regulations.

• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and external audit management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, Advanced Excel, and Power BI or other business intelligence and data analytics tools.

• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively and prepare business-related reports and presentations.

• Registered as an accounting professional in accordance with applicable Thai requirements (CPD).

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to plan, delegate, monitor performance, coach, and develop a team.
