Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end Merchandising Development process, from product development through production handover, ensuring compliance with international quality standards and customer requirements.

• Manage and drive team KPIs, including sample development, pre-production readiness, audit performance, and on-time delivery, to achieve established business objectives.

• Serve as the key liaison among R&D, Pattern Development, Quality Assurance, Production, Procurement, and international customers to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.

• Control and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the production handover process and sample approval procedures before releasing styles to production.

• Design and enhance tracking systems, workflow tools, and standardized checklists to improve transparency, accuracy, and Right First Time (RFT) performance.

• Develop, coach, and strengthen the capabilities of team members and supervisors to build a high-performing organization.

• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and increase productivity.

• Support the organization's Digital Transformation initiatives within the Merchandising function by improving systems, processes, and digital capabilities.

• Leverage AI and Data Analytics to improve business performance, including data analysis, automated work tracking, document verification, and decision-making efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Merchandising, Product Development, Apparel Manufacturing, or related functions.

• Experience in export-oriented garment manufacturing or working with global apparel brands will be a strong advantage.

• Solid understanding of the end-to-end apparel product development process, including sample development, costing, production handover, and production workflow.

• Strong cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience with or familiarity with digital business systems such as ERP, PLM, or workflow tracking systems will be an advantage.

• Demonstrated leadership ability with proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
