Position Overview:
We are seeking an experience, dynamic and visionary Head of Catalogue & Licensing to lead the revitalization and re-marketing of our extensive collection of label and artist back catalogues from UMT, EMI & RS labels. This crucial role involves collaboration with various teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Digital Distribution, Promotion, and social media, to develop and execute innovative strategies and comprehensive go-to-market plans.
The ideal candidate will ensure campaigns are launched with clarity and precision, guided by well-defined goals, actionable plans, and carefully managed budgets to achieve maximum commercial impact.
This candidate will be involve in revenue maximization for all domestic catalogue online , offline, public performance & licensing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Back Catalogue Re-Marketing: Develop and implement creative campaigns that breathe new life into our diverse back catalogues, maximizing revenue generation and audience engagement. This include creating events based on anniversaries for album and artists.
  • New Catalogue Revenue Ideas: Find new ways to exploit catalogue which we own entire copyright & publishing via “cover versions” project with owned, distributed or 3rd party labels
  • Build Social Media Channels: With our unique strength for our catalogue, we need to be able to create our own socials to generate communities that we can own and manage for future opportunities incl. merchandising ideas, live events etc.
  • New Catalogue Acquisition: To seek opportunity in the market for us to acquire new catalogue to strengthen our market position and grow digital market share.
  • Campaign Management: Design, execute, and monitor comprehensive marketing campaigns with specific objectives and measurable results, ensuring alignment with overarching commercial goals.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to optimize returns on investment.
  • Catalogue Artist Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with catalogue artists to seek opportunity for participation via new recordings. Generate `new creative’ ideas to work with artists for revenue maximization.
  • Managing RS TCC Partnership: Working closely with RS rights collection team to ensure our yearly projected revenue is achieved.
  • Catalogue Licensing: To ensure we achieve annual targets for this by looking at partnership with various parties including extending RS partnership with Grammy.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure and analyze the success of marketing campaigns post-launch, providing in-depth insights and actionable recommendations for ongoing improvements and adjustments.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across the Frontline Marketing, Product Management, Digital Distribution, Promotion, and Social Media teams to ensure a unified approach to effective marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Research & Insights: Utilize market research and data analysis to provide valuable insights, identify emerging trends, and uncover opportunities to enhance catalogue performance and explore new market segments.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead the music catalogue team, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and innovation to drive collective achievements and exceed expectations.
