• 8 years or above experience in IT infrastructure
• Sound knowledge in IT infrastructure and security
• Holder of professional certification (e.g. Azure)

This role acts as the subject matter expert of IT Infrastructure and security areas in SEA Regional Office, providing technical consultancy and advisory to Regional and Country teams. Responsible for collaborating with Country IT Teams in Group/Regional infrastructure and security initiatives. Reporting to Regional Head of IT, SEA and dot-line reporting to Lead of Infrastructure & Governance, Group IT (HK).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the focal point of infrastructure and security matters for Regional and Country IT teams
• Provides technical consultancy and advisory to Regional and Country teams (including IT teams and all business units) as subject matter expertise in IT infrastructure and security areas.
• Implements Group IT policies, standards, and guidelines in Regional and Country IT teams with periodically assessment and review the compliance by Country IT teams.
• Collaborates with Group IT and take the regional leading role in Group/Regional initiatives, e.g., infrastructure/security project rollout, keep tracking local implementation progress, security awareness program, compliance reviews, etc.
• Formulates and communicates specific team objectives to country infrastructure team members to support the compliance with Cyber Security Standards and Policies.
• Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Works with Application Team to identify process gaps and provides input on solutions.
• Maintains a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and industry trends,
• Negotiates the investment cost and annual agreement renewal with service providers.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 6 to 8 years or above solid experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, security, and/or compliance areas in sizable organization, ideally with regional presence, e.g., APAC.
• Sound knowledge in IT infrastructure and security areas, e.g., networking, virtualization, cloud, cybersecurity solutions, etc. with a proven track record.
• Experienced in implementing or maintaining global standards / framework, e.g., ISO 9000, 27001 & PCI/DSS, etc.
• Holder of related professional certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Cisco, CISSP) is an advantage.
• Master’s degree in computer science (M.S.) or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience with IT Infrastructure project management in an international environment, preferably in an industrial or process driven environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Compute (Windows Server etc.), Storage, Network technologies; Cross Functional Technical Experience: Windows Server installations; Microsoft Active Directory and DNS; Data back-up technologies; VMware; SAN/NAS storage systems, etc.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
