The Business Intelligence (BI) department serves as the finance, data, and technology department for Shopee Thailand. We build systems and transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. BI teams engage in strategic collaboration and consulting, working with stakeholders to define problems and provide data-driven recommendations.

Internship Period

This posting is for candidates starting between November 2026 and January 2027, for a minimum of 12 weeks. Open to students in co-op or university internship programs.

Job Description

• Develop internal web portals and AI tools that drive business efficiency.

• Write production-ready SQL and Python code to transform raw data into high-quality, actionable insights.

• Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to build AI-enabled features that drive operational efficiency.

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with a solid understanding of software development practices.

• Analytical mindset, with the ability to draw sound conclusions from data.

• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of LLM and AI engineering is a plus.
