Job Summary:
Learning Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role involves identifying training needs, coordinating learning initiatives, and supporting performance management and career development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning within the institution. The officer will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external training providers to ensure that learning solutions align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training and development needs through surveys, performance evaluations, and discussions with department heads to identify skill gaps and learning priorities.
- Design, develop, and implement learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and leadership development initiatives to enhance employee competencies.
- Coordinate the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, materials preparation, and communication with participants.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by collecting feedback, analyzing learning outcomes, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage learning management systems (LMS) and ensure accurate tracking of training records, course enrollments, and completion rates.
- Collaborate with external training providers, consultants, and universities to source and implement specialized training programs.
- Work with Impact team to ensure the training alignment with the institution's priorities.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Support performance management and career development initiatives, mentorship programs, and succession planning efforts by providing guidance on career progression opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in learning and development, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and relevance in training programs.
- Work closely with HR leadership to develop and implement policies related to training, professional development, and employee engagement.
- Assist in organizing corporate events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team-building activities to promote a learning-oriented culture within the organization.
- Perform Learning and Development (L&D) duties and other related assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
- Experience in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools for course administration and tracking.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple training programs and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and other learning-related software.
- Ability to analyze training needs and measure learning effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Experience in coordinating external training vendors, trainers, and consultants is an advantage.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and employee development.
- Fluency in both Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
