A DAY IN THE LIFE...
- Support the business units in their day-to-day activity, with a focus on commercial, corporate, and compliance matters/projects;
- Cross-functioned work and also with others in the Legal Department, both at Market and Head Quarters level;
- Provide support in preparing documents for corporate meetings and other relevant corporate documents;
- Follow-up on new laws and regulations, and prepare relevant communications to employees;
- Monitor and produce corporate legal documentation (such as power of attorney, legal notice, etc.);
- Review contracts and corporate documents including filing Corporte Document with DBD;
- Engage with external lawyers to ensure proper follow-up and escalation of litigation and governmental proceeding; produce periodic litigation reports;
- Support Nestle businesses in negotiating with debtors and participate in commercial transaction and prepare outstanding debtors report;
- Be part of the 'contract management' team to monitor all life-cycle of contracts and files;
- Conduct initial IP searches;
- Contact relevant governmental authorities to apply and monitor matters related to licenses, permits or registrations;
- Provide legal opinion on consumer protection issues including but not limited to reviewing promotional campaign and advertisement.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- Bachelor's Degree in Law is a must
- 2 - 4 years of experience in legal practices
- Experience in following areas of Law: corporate, eCommerce and IP is preferable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate efficiently both in Thai and English
- Service minded and a can-do attitude
