Responsibilities

• As a Sr. Failure Analysis & Epoxy Engineer you will be responsible for determining root cause analysis for issues from production and customer RMA.

• You will be an expert in failure analysis techniques and methods.

• You must be familiar with a variety of materials like solder, epoxy, PCBA buildup construction etc.

• You will also conduct materials characterization and analysis to aid designs.

Requirement

• Master's degree in Material Engineering or Science or 5+ years in performing failure analysis with hands-on experience with failure analysis techniques in electronic manufacturing.

• Familiar with FTIR, SEM/EDX, X-ray, TGA/DSC and capable to interpret the analytical result for failure mechanism. Complete the FA in a standard FA report and presentation.

• Experience with cross-sectional polishing/lapping process for microscopic inspection sample preparation.

• Experience with data analysis, software, hardware, board design, and automation of data acquisition.

• With good English communication, able to work with cross functional team for technical discussion and committed to the action with result delivery.

• Possessed basic electrical fault isolation technique and understanding is added advantage.

• Understand the quality system of the test laboratory according to ISO/IEC17025.
