Your roleKey responsibilities in your new role

Staff Management and Leadership

• Supervising Staff: Guide, coach, and oversee all assembly technicians and operators across Front of Line (FOL) and End of Line (EOL) production.

• Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules and shift rotations to ensure optimal line coverage and consistently meet production deadlines.

• Hiring and Training: Participate in recruiting new Line Technicians (LT) and Operators (OP); conduct comprehensive training on technical job duties, safety protocols, and company procedures.

• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve interpersonal issues and disputes among manufacturing personnel promptly to prevent lost productivity.

• Performance Management: Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and align individual goals with STEP (Target and Behavior) expectations.

Production and quality control

• Scheduling and Planning: Collaborate with Line Control (LC) to develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, ensuring alignment of the loading plan and materials.

• Monitoring Workflow: Track the end-to-end manufacturing process—specifically monitoring FOL (Die Attach, Wire Bond) and EOL (Molding, Trim & Form, Plating) stages—to maintain high efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure strict quality standards.

• Process Improvement: Analyze production metrics and data to implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at reducing waste, optimizing throughput, and boosting productivity.

• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels for F1 and GK materials, coordinating closely with the Logistics (LOG) team to prevent material shortages and line stoppages.

Safety and maintenance

• Enforcing Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all company and regulatory safety guidelines to maintain a zero-accident work environment.

• Conducting Inspections: Regularly inspect manufacturing machinery and specialized assembly equipment across FOL and EOL zones to proactively identify maintenance needs.

• Arranging Repairs: Coordinate with the maintenance department to schedule routine servicing and rapid repairs for faulty or unreliable equipment.

• Accident Investigation: Lead investigations into any workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Reporting and communication

• Data Analysis: Compile, track, and analyze key performance data and production records to evaluate progress against target KPIs.

• Reporting to Management: Prepare and present comprehensive performance, efficiency, and progress reports to senior management.

• Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as the primary liaison to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control (QC), Maintenance, and Logistics (LOG).

Your profileQualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (minimum requirement).

• At least 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with supervisory or team leadership responsibility.

• Experience managing teams of operators or semi-skilled workers in a production environment.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and safety standards.

• Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Ability to solve problems and make decisions based on policies and operational guidelines.

• Experience in training, coaching, and developing team members.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
