Digital Sales Specialist

Introduction
This sales role has responsibility for developing, progressing, and selling solutions to IBM clients. The seller will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and closing renewal and net new Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) offerings to multiple clients across different industries.


Your Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of IBM Technology Lifecycle Services offerings, have strong written and oral communication skills, and be highly organized. The candidate should be able to articulate the business offerings to new and existing IBM clients. The candidate must be able to understand the financials of a sale and be able to articulate the value to the client and management. This role requires the seller to maintain excellent communications with our clients and keep sales records updated with current status. This Digital Sales Specialist must interact with account managers and cross-functional peers to execute sales objectives and targets. The client needs to be able to communicate with high level clients, identify and articulate their needs, create value-based solutions, and demonstrate expert communications.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Solution, Consultative, and Financial Selling
  • Expert technical skills with IBM systems, including: Outlook, IBM Sales Cloud, Conga, Excel, and Word
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Ideal candidate will have strong TLS experience, including expert knowledge of internal processes, i.e., proposal tools, approval processes, understanding of TSS financials, and ability to work independently and close deals with clients.
