About the role

Herrera and Partners (H&P) is seeking a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join the dispute resolution team in Bangkok. The role involves managing existing and new litigation matters within a boutique law firm with a team of Foreign and Thai Legal professionals. The position requires a Thai lawyer with experience in Thai Civil and Criminal law, and fluent English is essential as most clients are English speakers and foreign companies and foreign individuals. You will be work under the supervision of the Thai Litigation partner and above a Thai Litigation Associate.

Key responsibilities

Represent clients at Civil, Criminal and Family Courts

• Prepare legal opinions and memorandums

• Design legal strategies for the success of litigation

• Meet clients at the office or via Zoom calls

• Conduct legal research

• Participate in mediations and negotiations

• Prepare and submit bails and appeals

• File appeals and bails

• Attend meetings with public officers

• Conduct due diligence and investigations

About you

• Bachelor of Law or higher

• Lawyer License at Lawyer Council of Thailand

• Valid Notarial Services Attorney license required

• Experience and capability in preparing legal reports, legal opinions, and due diligence reports

• Capable of liaising and coordinating with government authorities and other relevant public agencies

• Previous experience in international law firm or consulting firm is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented professional

• Good communication skills and relationship-building skills

• Able to work independently and complete assignments within deadline

• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing

• Good command of computer literacy especially in MS Office
