Job Description:

To represent GXO Safety at client sites in line with the GXO EHS plan and direction,

To report into the Regional Safety Manager to demonstrate safety coordination of site level programs and initiatives as a support to the operational management.

Responsibilities:

Accountabilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• On Floor engagement and administrative tasks performed at a ratio 75% / 25%.

• Maintain, coordinate, and communicate environmental health and safety processes and procedures at site level.

• Conduct site audits of facility requirements as it relates to environmental health and safety programs and initiatives.

• Ensure compliance and implementation by GXO employees and contractors with GXO EHS procedures.

• To ensure workplace safety and health compliance according to Client EHS procedures at Client facilities.

• Monitoring and supporting all GXO logistics activities at Client facilities.

• Provide additional support and project management oversight to new and critical EHS initiatives.

• Identify risks during activities and partner with Operations to permanently mitigate them via the hierarchy of controls.

• Ensure completion of EHS action items for facilities and processes are resolved.

• Review, analyze, develop, and communicate environmental health and safety programs and solutions initiatives; develop action plans, as necessary.

• Lead safety meetings, training, and continuing education.

• Initiate and complete safety incident reports, RCCAs, and customer reporting needs.

• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessments at site level.

• Execute Safety Program projects as directed by site leader and Regional Safety Manager

• To conduct ESD testing and keeping record

• To support DG audit

• To instill DG awareness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field that Handling Safety Professional Certification

• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse safety or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to work in an environment with noise level exceeding 85db for a prolonged period. (If required)
