Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) - CDC

Your challenge

As a Senior Product Designer, you will design user experiences for operational systems used inside our

warehouse

and

fulfillment

environments. Your work will support both

web applications

and

handheld PDA devices

used by operators, supervisors, and administrators within the warehouse management ecosystem.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineers to translate operational processes into intuitive and efficient digital workflows.

Your responsibilities include:

Advocate for user-centered design solutions across warehouse operations and digital platforms.

Design user experiences and interfaces for web applications and PDA/handheld devices used in warehouse operations.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that can be implemented directly by engineering teams.

Design task-driven workflows for warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, loading inspection, and inventory handling.

Design PDA interfaces optimized for speed and clarity, where minimal interaction steps are critical for frontline operators.

Conduct user research and usability testing to understand operator workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Define user personas and user journeys for both warehouse operators and administrative users.

Design operational dashboards and monitoring tools that allow supervisors to quickly understand system status, exceptions, and operational performance.

Translate complex business processes and operational requirements into clear, intuitive interaction flows.

Establish and evolve consistent design patterns, UI components, and design systems that scale across web and PDA platforms.

Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, operational insights, and usability testing.

Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with operational constraints.

Requirements

We are looking for designers who are passionate about solving complex problems and improving operational systems through thoughtful design.

Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing

Strong experience designing desktop, web, and mobile applications

Experience designing workflow heavy or enterprise systems

Strong visual and interaction design skills

Experience building or contributing to design systems that scale across platforms

Experience working in Agile product development environments

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to translate abstract ideas and operational processes into clear user experiences

Creative problem solving and analytical thinking

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving product requirements

Demonstrated ability in user research, interaction design and visual design
