Job Description

• Work in shift rotation to manage the security events and incident (morning or evening shift)
• Analyze all security events derived from abnormal activities or attempts based on MITRE framework and Cyber-kill chain
• Declare severity of security incidents resulting from analysis and perform incident response
• Collaborate with different IT teams
• Carry out checks and control to ensure the security of IT systems
• Improve use-case logic, detection mechanisms, create executive reports
• Carry out CTF events with team to help and improve your own skills and teammates
• Understanding of runbooks, improving use-case logic and response procedures.
• Perform advanced security investigations based on detections from Endpoints (Windows/Mac/Linux) using MDE/Crowdstrike and other tools
• Perform advanced security investigations based on abnormalities from Network and Infrastructure

Education

• Bachelor’s degree BSc. Computer Science, Engineer or related field

Language skills

• Good communication skills in English (both written and oral)

Qualification

• 2-5 years of experience in IT security field
• General network background including familiarity with OSI and TCP/IP models, ports and protocols, and Internet communications technologies (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, etc)
• Familiarity with various network attacks and attack methods such as network scans, password guessing, cross-site scripting, sql injection, etc.
• Familiarity with MITRE framework, Cyber Kill-chain
• Familiarity with network and endpoint security technologies and products
• General knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Ability to apply wide range of technical and theoretical tools such as (Cyber Kill-Chain) in security
• investigation
• Understanding and application of other technologies but not limited to such as Cloud / DevSecOps
• Staying up to date with latest security threats and able to suggest ideas and share knowledge to the team
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely between facts, opinions and ideas.

• Time management of assigned tasks and personal follow up
