  • Technical Reporting: Record data accurately, analyze results, and prepare clear technical reports and summaries for the Sales and Technical Service teams.
  • Method Execution: Follow established test methods and SOPs; support the development and improvement of laboratory methods where needed.
  • Customer Support: Assist the Sales team with customer-facing technical requests and provide data that supports product positioning and troubleshooting.
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate laboratory instruments and ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained, and safe to use.
  • Inventory & Lab Management: Maintain stock of lab supplies, manage sample inventory, and keep the laboratory environment organized and compliant.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, chemical handling guidelines, and quality management procedures.

Who are You?

  • Detail-Oriented: You take pride in generating accurate, reliable data and maintaining a well-organized lab environment.
  • Curious & Technically Minded: You enjoy understanding how products behave and why results matter to customers.
  • Collaborative: You work effectively with Sales, R&D, Technical Service, and Quality teams to ensure consistent customer support.
  • Clear Communicator: You can translate laboratory findings into clear messages that non-technical colleagues can understand.
  • Dependable & Responsible: You consistently follow safety and quality standards and deliver work on time.
  • Adaptable: You are comfortable shifting between tasks as sales priorities and customer needs evolve.

What competencies will you need?

  • Laboratory Skills: Hands-on experience with chemical testing, preparation, and analytical techniques relevant to specialty chemical products.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation (e.g., viscosity, rheology, chromatography, spectroscopy, thermal analysis - depending on product line).
  • Data & Documentation: Strong data recording, interpretation, and reporting skills with attention to accuracy.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of chemical safety protocols, PPE requirements, and safe handling practices.
  • Digital & Analytical Skills: Competence with laboratory software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and basic data analysis tools.
