• Performs and guides technical EHS activities resulting from approved self-initiated or assigned programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing or new programs/systems having major importance to the business within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Communicates project or program status and results to customers and management.
• Provides EHS consulting services on new programs for assigned locations.
• Analyzes EHS data and reports trends and results to management. Recommends plans for correction.
• Applies working knowledge of key corporate initiatives and appropriate tools to job function.
• May contribute information to the technical strategic planning process.
• Leads teams within the assigned business unit.
• Participates on cross-functional and/or cross-divisional teams.
• Provides guidance and technical knowledge to new employees and others.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science and or a major in Industrial hygiene, Health or Environmental area
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of specific experience in EHS program direct work.
• Must have the ability to solve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources; consistently looking for novel ways to solve problems; mastering unfamiliar information, tasks and situations quickly and effectively
• Skills to manage multiple priorities and drive implementation of key EHS initiatives in a fast paced environment.
• Self-starter with a tolerance for ambiguity.
• Expertise to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees at all levels of management.
• Customer service and leadership skills.
• Analytical skills with the willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations applicable to chemical safety.
• Skills to work with databases and perform data analysis.
