Fashion Buyer - Team Lead

Responsibilities

Manage a specific product line monthly range plan, Designers submission schedule, design and fit, orders, production, pricing, and launch.

Identify and understand Global trends as well as Southeast Asian fashion trends, historical sales performance, and target customers.

Identify emerging trends and brands, and push assortment forward each season

Communicate the strategy as well as range plan between inter-departments; Marketing, Retail, PR and etc

Strategize pricing and assortment expansion for both online and offline

Work with management team to create annual and monthly sales and sell-through targets for the overall fashion category and subcategories

Attend and communicate key information in trading meetings to maintain a good overall trading of the categories.

Maintain all aspects of the critical path with the team to ensure deadlines for key dates and events are achieved.

Work closely with Designers, Product Developers, Studio team, Production team.

Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in buying and developing womenswear clothing, multi product and non clothing preferably in a fast fashion environment 4 years++.

Strong commercial awareness, with a creative eye for product and trends

Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines

Strong Excel skills

Excellent communicator, will be required to communicate internationally and across regions on a daily basis
