As a buying associate, you'll be supporting the lead buyer, gaining the skills needed to become a fashion-buying superstar.

Responsibilities

• To prepare product-based analysis for trading decisions, make proposals for the assortment selection as well as line plans of your unit. Furthermore, provide input and you will gradually join order appointments and negotiation meetings independently.
• Track sample development and assist in fitting sessions. Follow up the production status with the production team.
• To support our buyers in operational and functional matters. Data entry, SKU creation, Create/cancel orders and make sure all necessary steps are followed through.
• To be the first contact person for our suppliers, next to our buyers, to set up and maintain condition contracts with them.
• To work closely with our logistic team in order to ensure that our products are available to release on time.
• To formulate and manage a new product launch plan with an aim to achieve business strategies.
• Analyzing all relevant buying KPIs and preparing the seasonal planning for your Buying area as well as your weekly campaign planning and its organization.
• Researching market and customer trends, Identifying any new products for the department to trial
• Cross-functional collaboration with other departments like Logistics, merchandising, studio, branding, and Onsite Management will be part of your daily work, ensuring that we act in line with the whole organization. You will work cross-functionally to drive sales and maximize profit.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Management or education in a similar area.
• Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant Fashion Buying Experience. You have been part of a fast-paced retailing business, ideally within an E-commerce retailer and vertically integrated fashion experience for 0-5 years. New graduates are also welcome.
• Structured and communicative. You thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace collaboration and act proactively.
• You organize your workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are ready on time, are accurate and prioritized accordingly. Clear communication internally and externally is one of your biggest strengths.
• Passionate. You have fun working with numbers and at the same time fashion and lifestyle are a great passion of yours. Moreover, you have a strong understanding of trends and products, especially at SEA market level.
• Systems and language proficiency. MS Office, especially Excel and formulas, is part of your daily routine.
