Service Engineer (Textile Business)
atEPSON (THAILAND)Position:Service Engineer Report to: Service Support Manager Department: Service Support Department
Key Objective: Provide end-to-end technical support primarily for Regional Headquarter customer base. This position requires to travel around EPSON Singapore region (Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam).
Working Hour: 8:30 – 17.30 (Mon – Fri)
- Provide technical support for
- Technical phone support
- Onsite technical support
- Tradeshow support including printer set up and calibration, demonstration and tear down.
- End-user training
- Be an Ambassador for Epson Sure Color F2000-series machine, a direct-to-fabric (DTF) inkjet printer (EPSON DTF)
- Male, Thai Nationality, Age not over than 35 years old
- Diploma's /Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Technical or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in field engineering positions in technical department in industrial Fabric, Textile, Garment
- Knowledge of inkjet printing technology
- Knowledge in RIP software (Raster image processing software),
- Knowledge in color theory and materials/ chemicals used in the printing industry
- Knowledge of textile process for textile digital machine and sublimation digital machine
- Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
- Have an experience in technical support specializes for DTF (direct-to-fabric inkjet printer), LFP (Large Format Printer ) , RIPS (Raster image processing software) and LIJ (Large Inkjet Printer ) for End User, SI (Systems Integrator) , ASP (Authorize Service Partner) and Call center team (new product, refresh and update technical knowledge) are more advantage
- A self-motivating personality that can independently manage a large service territory (includes effective management of Epson assets i.e. parts, tools, company information)
- Good communication skills and customer focused
- Required language skills: Fluent in Local Language and English
- This position requires extensive regional travel at short notice
