Assistant Distributor Manager - ML
atPepsico Services Asia Co., Ltd. (Pepsi-Cola)- Leading day to day operation on field by partnering closely with distributor to ensure to ensure excellent operation and efficiency according to company guidelines. Support on Knowledge / inventory management
- Manage and drive distributors’ performance to achieve sales KPIs with the identified gap closing within the responsible territories
- Ensure distributor compliance (objectives, plan, standard, systems, and process) are on track and follow PepsiCo policy
- Assist in inventory management activities and company assets e.g., Point of Sale Materials (POSM)
- Partner with distributors to ensure continual improvement in capability, knowledge, customer service, performance, further required infrastructure, profitability
- Monitor distributor performance P&L and ROI through monthly and quarterly business review
- Lead distributor health check to ensure productive distributor standard process of PEP team and distributors team with a region
- Be a single point of contact between PEP and distributors
- Manage and drive Sales team performance to achieve sales KPIs with the identified gap closing
- Work with/coach Distributor's salesman to improve the capability
- Accomplish business objectives; develop routing with increasing new calls. Coach Distributor salesman to implement and deliver outstanding results.
- Drive in-field execution as per company guidelines and oversee market activities ensuring DRC’s compliance is on track
- Lead gate meetings to monitor sales performance and cascade clear communication and adherence to pricing and promotions and motivate the entire team to deliver excellent results in assigned routes
- Provide constructive feedback, look for market opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Be able to work in Laos at least 24 days per month
- 5 years of work experience in Sales TT and, experience in working with a distributor is required
- Good command of written and spoken English and computer literacy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good leadership skills, and problem-solving
- Strong sales skills ideally with prior experience in FMCG & retail
- Entrepreneurial mindset with “can-do attitude”
- Good understanding of all business functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics)
- Strong communication skills across all hierarchy levels
- Attend to details and multi-tasking
- Good analytical skill and strategic thinking
- Good team management skill on projects and business partners
- Managerial skills, well organized, self-motivated, and leadership
- Good coaching and training skills
