eCommerce Sales Channel Supervisor

The ideal eCommerce Sales Channel Supervisor is a seasoned eCommerce expert with a proven track record for developing and leading best-in-class online merchandising programs.

This position will implement the strategy, development and implementation of online sales channel growth for the company. The candidate will work closely with internal staff and our distribution partners, to maintain high standard of quality and to create a memorable shopping experience for all customers. The successful candidate will have solid business and analytical skills, with practical eCommerce experience. Operationally, the candidate will work with in a customer-centric eCommerce program and keep current in online consumer trends and best practices to ensure the eCommerce platforms are performing to its maximum potential.

  • Develop revenue growth strategies including pricing, mix assortment, promotion, inventory, refresh strategies and overall site functionality
  • Leverage e-commerce principles to ensure that website merchandising is optimised to reflect how customers prefer to shop online
  • Execute a Marketing Plan for eCommerce channel; drive web traffic, increase conversion rates and expand customer relationships monthly
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Distribution partners to promote a multi-channel experience and achieve KPI targets
  • Become the resident expert on customer website protocols and establish key contact relationships with customers to realise optimum placement on their sites
  • Identify key metrics for the program; analyse site traffic and consumer behaviors and track revenue and sales in order to drive strategic decisions
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure the best possible customer experience and ensure that site content is dynamically updated and current
  • Deliver a positive brand experience and support effective visual merchandising.
  • Manage site content and product mix to maximise slaes on each platform
  • Review search results page to optimise conversion
  • Work closely with Product Managers to manage the addition of new products to the site, in-site merchandising / promotions and regular updates to all content
  • Manage relationships with merchants for product inclusion on eCommerce platforms
  • Manage various eCommerce channels for product uploading, content and photo generation, inventory planning and maintaining overall mood and tone of the brand
  • Arrange promotions with channel partners to meet KPI sales targets
  • Actively manage eCommerce platform to maintain dynamic and engaging content and layout for customer retention, engagement and conversion
