Output 1: Policy Dialogue Support Prepare background materials, talking points, and documentation to support discussions. Deliverable 1: Draft programme and background document for the policy dialogue Output 2: Event Coordination Support the logistical and administrative organization of workshops, roundtables, and virtual consultations. Coordinate with stakeholders and service providers to ensure smooth execution of events. Deliverable 2: Information note for participants for the policy dialogues/workshops. Invitation letters and registration list Session guides Output 3: Stakeholder Engagement Participate in virtual consultations with ESCAP and relevant stakeholders. Provide written inputs, feedback, and follow-up documentation as required. Deliverable 3: Summary of the virtual consultations Output 4: Research Support Contribute to the development of the ASEAN–EAEU digital economy study. Assist with annexes, data collection, and identification of relevant sources and references. Deliverable 4: Background research paper on digital transformation initiatives in ASEAN Consolidated inputs from Stakeholders Output 5: Final Report Contributions Assist in compiling data and reviewing the final study, integrating inputs from dialogues, research, and stakeholder consultations. Ensure coherence, accuracy, and relevance of content across all sections. Deliverable 5: Final report Output 6: Project Management Support the monitoring and evaluation of project activities. Track progress, ensure timely delivery of outputs, and maintain alignment with work plans. Deliverable 6: Project completion report

Duties and Responsibilities
The Individual Contractor (IC) will support Subregional Office for South-East Asia (SROSEA) in implementing the ASEAN–Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) digital economy initiative and will be under the guidance of the Head of the SROSEA. Specific responsibilities include: Policy Dialogue Support: Prepare background materials and documentation. Event Coordination: Support the logistical and administrative organization of workshops, roundtables, and virtual consultations. Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in virtual consultations with ESCAP and stakeholders, and provide written inputs and feedback as required. Research Support: Contribute to the development of the ASEAN–EAEU digital economy study, including annexes, data collection, and identification of relevant sources. Project Management: Assist in monitoring and evaluating project activities, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and adherence to work plans.
Qualifications/special skills
Advanced university degree in international economics or development or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in economic research, international development, or regional cooperation. Conducting policy research and supporting preparation of analytical reports. Organizing and coordinating events, including workshops, roundtables, and virtual consultations. Project management, including monitoring and evaluation of development projects or initiatives. Familiarity with ASEAN and/or EAEU regional frameworks, institutions, and economic integration processes is highly desirable. Experience working with international organizations, government agencies, or regional bodies is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation processes.
