MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY


Build and maintain professional customer relationship, seek and provide customer information for the company in order to identify growth opportunity. Take leading role in understanding product information and use them as a tool to influence their buying behavior and gain customer intimacy.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Plan, organize, execute and evaluate professional visit to customer in order to build and maintain relationship with customer, influencing their buying behavior and grow their spending on a win/win environment
  2. Generate and boost sales of customers in portfolio via phone
  3. Gather and understand market information including competition to share and feed to related company functions
  4. Be the champion of customer information; work closely with the customer to understand their business and direction to be able to identify Makro’s business opportunity with the changing customer’s needs
  5. Work with both in-house and contracted researcher as assigned by Head Office on a research project that involves selection of target customer; contact, invite participation, and gathering of customer information
  6. In conjunction with MRA team, develop joint objectives and work closely to grow MRA participation on a win/win basis between customer and Makro
  7. Work closely with Reception to ensure customer data accuracy upon membership application; ensure that data adjustment is done according to procedure with respective approvals from related parties
  8. Recover customer satisfaction from dissatisfied customers by professionally handling complaint as per procedure and guideline provided
  9. On a project basis, together with the taskforce team leader, work in conjunction with the canvassing taskforce team to recruit new membership as per target set at the specified store
  10. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by superior


SKILLS REQUIRED

Education and/or Job Experience Requirements

  1. Graduate of Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, computer science or related courses
  2. 0-2 years supervisory experience in sales and customers service, database management of a retailer or wholesale organization
