Its all about progress.If youre ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a System Integration EngineerPurpose of the jobTo develop, implement, and manage project System Integration activities related functions covering Sub-Systems (PS&D, Communications / SCADA, AFC, Switches, Platform Screen Doors and Depot) and interfaces with Vehicles, Signaling, Services and Infrastructure.Working closely with all Bombardiers Engineering group, responsibilities include the evaluation of partner and Bombardier design and technical interfaces. The emphasis will be the integration of the various engineering and systems engineering disciplines necessary (communications, power supply, and offshore division for Rolling Stock, Signaling) to achieve the performance requirements of a transit system.oDefining turkey system concepts, architecture and configurationoTrade-off analysisoDefinition of system level specificationoManage the System performance and failure management simulationoSet high level system requirement and schematicsoInterface Definition and Management between BT sub-systems, and also between BT scope and Civil Contractor scope for engineering activitiesoSystem ArchitectureoSupport Testing & Commissioning Manager function for definition of strategy and management plan for Testing & commission and Handover.Key responsibilities1.Lead the day-to-day project activities for the System Integration team. Ensure that System Integration Engineering deliverables such as integration /interface plans, DCIMs, System Architecture, Design interface matrix, ICDs, etc are coordinated, produced by the engineering team under his group, and are delivered according to the agreed quality standards, on time and within budget.Ensure that Engineering best practices are implemented as well as product safety standards are maintained to their highest level.Coordinate weekly Integration meetings internally for BT scope, with production of internal minutes of meeting and weekly action plan for system integration works.Coordinate the use of external/internal baseline drawings/specification for all sub-system design activities.2.In coordination with System Integration Manager, System Design Leads and System Assurance Manager, analyze system requirements and client specifications to establish functionality and performance of system.Work closely with System Assurance Manager and System Design Leads to provide a complete integrated system.3.Interact with the customer, other contractors. Suppliers, and vendors (as required) to ensure that requirements for system integration and interface are communicated.Actively attend weekly interface workshop with the operator, and any other design interface meetings under the leadership of the System Integration Manager.Might be required time to time to organize, chair and coordinate specific interface /integration workshops between certain BT sub-systems and others (eg. Civil contractor, electricity local authority, etc) to ensure that BT interface requirements are met by others.4.Coordinate the system engineering process between Bombardier and the civil contractor on behalf of Bombardier.
