We are looking for a Senior-level candidate with expertise in one or all of the following three areas: Application Operation, Infrastructure Development, and System Development. Candidates do not need to have expertise in all three areas. Candidates with strong expertise and experience in any one of the above areas are also welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

IT Department Head / Senior IT Manager1. IT Strategy Development

• Develop and maintain the IT Roadmap aligned with business objectives.

• Develop and execute IT strategic plans.

• Identify, prioritize, and manage key IT initiatives.

• Establish technology strategies that support long-term business growth.

• IT Transformation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and consistent service delivery.

• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand business challenges and requirements, and translate them into technology solutions that create competitive advantages.

• Identify problems and recommend appropriate IT controls and improved procedures.

• Analyze business and system requirements and design or recommend new IT solutions and applications.

• Lead IT transformation projects from planning through implementation.

• IT Operations & IT Sourcing
• Support senior IT leadership and business sponsors in developing an effective IT operating model.

• Optimize IT service delivery models and identify, evaluate, and execute appropriate IT sourcing strategies.

• Manage IT operations to ensure stability, efficiency, and service quality.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, policies, and regulations.

• Application Rationalization & IT Architecture
• Develop and communicate a clear technology roadmap integrating relevant software, applications, and solutions.

• Provide IT Architecture leadership and establish appropriate technology standards.

• Assess the existing application landscape and define the target-state architecture.

• Develop platform and application roadmaps that support business objectives.

• Identify opportunities to rationalize, consolidate, upgrade, or replace applications to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• IT Project Management
• Define project requirements, scope, resources, and deliverables.

• Establish project teams and manage project budgets.

• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular progress reports.

• Recommend corrective actions and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to requirements.

• IT Management & Leadership
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.

• Manage relationships with technology partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure effective delivery of solutions and services.

• Build and lead a high-performing IT team.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

• Develop IT talent and establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.

• Ensure IT capabilities and resources are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Professional

Qualifications:Strong leadership, strategic planning, project management, business process analysis, and IT architecture skills.

• Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management and IT transformation, including significant experience in senior leadership roles.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Strong expertise in project management, business process analysis, and IT architecture.
