Location: Materials, Metallurgical, Corrosion Engineer (Contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance plant reliability and asset integrity by providing optimized inspection planning and monitoring recommendations relating possible damage mechanisms.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials for various engineering applications.
- Create inspection and test plans to monitor the condition of assets.
- Perform root cause failure analysis for static and rotating equipment with the optimized recommendations.
- Establish integrity operating windows to manage and control corrosion issues.
- Develop new methodologies and explore new technologies to effectively control corrosion.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in metallurgical, materials, production or welding engineering.
- Experience 2-7 years in inspection or corrosion engineering for oil & gas, petrochemical or chemical industries.
- Knowledgeable in corrosion mechanisms, materials and NDT methods.
- API, NACE or ASNT certificates would be advantage.
- Good analytical skill, collaboration, and drive to result.
- Good command in English both spoken and written
