Senior System Analyst (Loan System)

Job Summary

Senior System Analyst is responsible for lead analysis, solution design, and system enhancement for ALS (Systematic Software) and Loan & Collateral Management Systems developed on COBOL (Mainframe). This role collaborates closely with business users, architecture teams, and developers to ensure system stability, functional accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

• Review and enhance workflows for ALS and loan/collateral systems/Credit Limit system.

• Perform impact analysis, data flow analysis, and interface mapping.

• Design solutions aligned with mainframe architecture and COBOL structures.

• Lead enhancements, change requests, and defect fixes.

• Support performance optimization and root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, application owners, and cross-functional teams.

• Guide junior analysts on system logic and architecture.

• Coordinate with vendors when required.

• Collaborate with business product team, Loan Operation team

• Prepare test scenarios and validate results for SIT/UAT.

• Maintain functional specs, data dictionaries, and workflow documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.

• 5+ years of system analysis experience, preferably in financial services.

• Strong knowledge of ALS (Systematic Software) or core lending systems.

• Experience with COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe tools.

• Knowledge of loan lifecycle processes (application, approval, disbursement, collateral, restructuring, payment).
