Head of Strategy & Analytics – Wealth Banking Segment (VP Level)

Job Purpose: Partner with SVP to shape and execute the Wealth segment strategy, driving business growth, differentiated value propositions, and exceptional customer experiences. Lead the transformation of MIS and Customer Insight capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making, leveraging both internal analytics and external market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Proposition Design

  • Develop and refine the Wealth Banking segment strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Define and enhance product concepts by deeply understanding customer needs, behaviors, and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Wealth Client Management Department, Product Departments, KSAM, KSS, and other key stakeholders to deliver relevant, competitive offerings.
  • Customer Insight & Analytics Leadership

  • Oversee the transformation of MIS into a proactive, insight-driven function that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Lead customer analytics initiatives to identify growth opportunities, customer pain points, and retention levers.
  • Work with Research teams to integrate NPS and Voice of Customer feedback into actionable segment strategies.
  1. Performance Management & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor and evaluate segment performance, identifying drivers of growth and risk.
  • Stay ahead of competitive movements, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic shifts impacting the Wealth Banking segment.
  1. Leadership & Change Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the MIS and Analytics team to enhance capabilities in data interpretation, storytelling, and strategic influence.
  • Drive a culture of agility, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to support the SVP’s transformation agenda.

Qualifications

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, consulting, or wealth management, with at least 5 years in strategy, analytics, or customer insight leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in segment strategy, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional project delivery.

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of banking products, wealth management, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and customer insight methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, segmentation, and market research best practices.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in managing transformation initiatives and leading teams through change.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Leading the MIS and analytics transformation while delivering day-to-day business insights.
