Job Purpose : Work with cross-functional team i.e. business and operation to manage the credit risk especially on acquisition quality of all portfolios under the entityto support business growth and initiatives in line with business risk appetite. Develop and implement credit risk underwriting, reserve and related policies, and ensure implementation in compliance with policy, law, and regulation. Supervise credit risk analyst

  • Organize and ensure risk monthly performance review timely set up for business discussion, monitor and review monthly performance report against trigger, trend of acquisition risk profile, approval rate, reject rate, and cancel rate trend, review acquisition performance analysis, ensure key performance alert well addressed, recommend and implement risk actions to improve performance and/or opportunity for business growth while maintaining sound credit risk quality
  • Develop and review early warning trigger in line with risk appetite for new acquisition and ensure periodic validation of the trigger for optimal profitability thru economic cycle
  • Prepare and review with risk mitigation and collection team loss projection for strategic plan (MTBP), ensure risk profile and business strategy reflected in the projection, reforecast, monitor actual performance against plan and trend, consolidate loss report for all Krungsri Consumer
  • Work with the scoring team to develop and implement credit scoring for new acquisition including the development of score/decision tree model, cut off analysis, implement on system, and monitor distribution, loss, and profitability by segment
  • Develop and implement change to credit risk policies of all portfolio under the entity, including underwriting policies, dealer & merchant policies, transactional approval authorities, review analysis of impact & quality of policy changes, discuss proposal with related functions & management for approval, communicate changes before launching to relevant parties, ensure proper implementation via system user acceptance test and ensure impact and result of changes closely monitored
  • Implement reserve policy thru model reserve, recommend monthly reserve, and ensure timely and accurate reserve recommendation in compliance with reserve policy and regulation, monitor reserve trend and ensure reserve adequacy validated against recent performance and thru economic cycle
  • Implement the risk strategy to support business growth
  • Develop and implement merchant & dealer opening policy & process, communicate to related party before implementation, prepare annual policy review, and ensure compliance to policy thru audit
  • Ensure risk governance framework approved by the board of directors and risk management policies & program properly executed
  • Involve in the BOT audit, BAY credit review team, internal and external auditors on credit risk & compliance issues, work with related functions to implement corrective actions to close audit issue, and report progress to senior management and the BOD
  • Supervise, train, and guide credit risk analyst on credit risk management
  • Regularly monitor policy discrepancy among products on a regular basis. Co-ordinate with cross functional team including business & operations on implementing policies, process and control mechanism to improve productivity and effectiveness
  • Help consolidate and monitor group performance
  • Master degree in Finance, Business management or related fields
  • Extensive experience in credit risk management and related regulation
  • Understanding of finance, banking business, and unsecured consumer finance products
  • Strong analytical skill and logical thinking
  • Advanced computer skill especially Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in English both speaking and writing
  • Presentation and communication skill
  • Managerial and people skill
  • Work under pressure, dedicated, accountable, and committed
  • Systematic thinking and can do attitude mindset
