API Support Engineer ( L3 )- Krungsri Nimble

The API Support Engineer will provide operational and technical support for Krungsri API and all related components. This role ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of API services, working in a 24×7 support model (on-call rotation) to resolve incidents, manage deployments, and ensure smooth release processes. The engineer will collaborate closely with project manager, development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to maintain operational excellence.
Job Description
· Provide L3 technical support, investigating and resolving production issues within agreed SLA.
· Act as a liaison between parties and collaborate with all teams to solve technical issues.
· Escalate issues related to software defects to the software development team, working closely with product managers and engineers to ensure smooth problem investigation.
· Create and maintain API dashboards and ensure proactive monitoring.
· Identify the impact to business and IT and able to propose the proper solution.
· Act as Release Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute deployments to production environments.
· Participate in 24×7 on-call rotation for incident response and after-hours deployments.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
· 5+ years of working experience in Application Support field.
· Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, and SQL
· Experience in Java application support, including JVM troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis for production issues, would be an advantage.
· Familiarity with shell scripting for automation and operational support would be an advantage.
· Good knowledge about RESTful API, HTTP protocol, OAuth and JSON are preferred
· Experienced in API test tools such as Postman
· Knowledge of database technology (MS SQL Server)
· Knowledge of Dynatrace, Kibana, Elastic Search, Log would be advantage
· Knowledge of Cloud platform, AWS, or OpenShift, DevSecOps/DevOps is a plus
· Strong experience in performing root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis with developers and testers
· Strong experience in identifying and tracking defects with clear steps to reproduce
· Strong experience of initiating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving errors and technical integration issues.
· Strong experience in tracking issues and reporting to stakeholders
