Senior Electrical control Engineer

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Automation & Electrical control system Engineer. This role will be part of a world-class team of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology that is responsible for designing and developing innovative digital solutions in the factory, supporting SEA sites (Thailand and Malaysia) to achieve their ambitious manufacturing goals and become Lighthouse factory. The responsibilities include assets life cycle management in order to obtain optimum efficiency from the equipment and overall facilities

Responsibilities

• Understanding of all automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Instrument, etc.), investigating and providing technical advice, and managing the specification, development, installation, and validation of current and future automation projects.
• Being responsible for providing technical support on Process Control Systems and Automation.
• Working on existing control platforms and getting involved in future projects to ensure all planning activities will be undertaken in a structured manner.
• Optimizing and developing control strategies to ensure technical and production availability of automated systems.
• Ability to apply new technologies for continuous improvement for productivity, Safety, Quality and Sustainability.

Qualifications

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Computer science, or any other related field.
• 4+ years of related experiences
• Excellent understanding of industrial controls, wiring diagrams, and P&ID.
• Good in the Instrumentation and automation integration processing unit.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solving industrial control systems.
• Good knowledge of HMI, SCADA, PLC , MES.
• Good knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, ASIbus, Modbus, TCP/IP, IT&OT).
• Having experiences in Smart factory/Industry 4.0 is preferable.
