Contract Manufacturer Support Engineer

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence within our organization.
- Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers to ensure seamless production processes, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks and audits to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to contract manufacturers, offering expertise and solutions to optimize their operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging your knowledge to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with contract manufacturers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Analyze production data and identify trends or areas for optimization, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, implementing necessary measures to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to align on manufacturing strategies and goals.
Must-Have:
- A strong foundation in optical communications, manufacturing processes and quality control practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with contract manufacturers.
- 4+ years of experience
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in a similar role within the electronics or optics the manufacturing industry, preferably in a contract manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of telecommunication industry-specific regulations and standards, ensuring compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret production data for continuous improvement.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, driving positive change within the organization.
