Lead the analysis of market conditions, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to identify strategic opportunities and potential business risks.
Develop and recommend competitive strategies and strategic initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives and long-term direction.
Lead comprehensive market and competitor intelligence activities, including analysis of products, pricing, promotions, distribution channels, customer segments, and marketing communications.
Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to assess the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats relative to key competitors.
Develop strategic business plans, annual plans, and marketing strategies to strengthen competitive advantage and support revenue and business growth.
Translate market and competitive insights into actionable strategic recommendations and present key findings to senior management and the executive team.
Establish strategic KPIs and monitor the performance of key business and marketing initiatives against market and competitor benchmarks.
Evaluate the effectiveness of strategic and marketing activities and recommend corrective actions, improvements, and new strategic directions where necessary.
Identify and assess new business opportunities arising from market gaps, emerging trends, changing consumer needs, and evolving competitive dynamics.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with relevant business units to ensure that strategic plans are effectively translated into execution and measurable business outcomes.
Monitor changes in the external business environment and provide management with forward-looking insights, scenarios, and strategic recommendations.
Lead, develop, and coach the strategic planning team, fostering a culture of analytical thinking, innovation, accountability, and business excellence.
Act as a strategic business partner to senior management and provide insights to support major business decisions and long-term growth initiatives.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Strategic Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree is highly preferred.
8-12+ years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business strategy, corporate strategy, market intelligence, marketing strategy, business development, or related fields, with proven leadership experience.
Previous experience in a General Manager, Head of Strategy, Strategic Planning Director, Business Strategy Director, or equivalent senior management role will be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in strategic planning, market analysis, competitive intelligence, business analysis, and commercial strategy.
