• Technical Design Ability - Capable of developing, under close supervision basic application of piping design principles. Understand materials of construction at a fundamental level. Be capable of recognizing support techniques. Understand, at a basic level, insulation classes. • Technical - Design Basis - Strives to understand piping standards and procedures. Proactively seeks out information to further learning.
• Project Execution - Understands the use of GCME mainstream CAD systems. Seeks out opportunities to familiarize and ideally train in their use. Understands application of common piping deliverables including; isometrics, piping Gas, tie-in details and plot plants. Understands basics of MTO and quantification. Actively participates with supervised engagement in all aspects of piping group functions and assists with progress reports, as necessary.

Assists in promoting the work of the group to other FW staff and clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Piping Design or Piping Stress Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of piping design, piping flexibility analysis, and pipe support design.
• Thorough understanding of industry codes and standards, including ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API, and other applicable standards.
• Solid knowledge of Static and Dynamic Stress Analysis, Thermal Expansion Analysis, Flexibility Analysis, Sustained, Expansion, and Occasional Load Cases.
• Experience in Nozzle Load Analysis for pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, and other static equipment.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, pressure systems, and pressure vessel engineering principles.
• Ability to perform piping stress calculations, interpret analysis results, prepare technical reports, and recommend engineering solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Thai language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence or commitment to obtaining one is preferred.
• Experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Chemical, or Power Plant projects is highly desirable.
