As a UX designer for Zen Rooms, you will be the our go to for human behavior insights. Your primary role will be to understand the business needs and product requirements and transform that into user-focused and intuitive interfaces and experiences. You will be working closely with our product managers, developers, CEOs and other key stakeholders. Your core tasks will include the creation of interaction flows, user journey maps, user scenarios, mockups and prototypes. You will have the opportunity to take part in design reviews with the Zen Room team as well as work closely with the Rocket team based here in Bangkok.

• Designing user-experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity pixel perfect mockups
• Creating rapid prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers
• Highly detailed communication of design principles + direction, as well as design specifications to the development teams
• Constant competitive benchmarking
• Staying abreast of UX trends and looking for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel worlds validating ideas and designs using split A/B tests and product performance

• Minimum 2 years of UX design experience
• Some classes, training or online courses completed in User Experience Design
• At least 1 responsive web project (Sr project from University is acceptable)
• 1 native mobile app project (Optional, nice to have)
• A portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of UI/UX best practices
• A knack for problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (the ability to effectively sell an idea)
• Some understanding of information design, interaction design and user psychology
• Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work deliverables
