About the role
Set up, configure and maintain notebooks, mobile devices and other IT equipment for new and existing users. Install and configure required software, applications and user access. Support onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT perspective. Maintain proper records of IT equipment and assets.
Key responsibilities
Set up, configure and maintain notebooks, mobile devices and other IT equipment for new and existing users
- Install and configure required software, applications and user access
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT perspective
- Maintain proper records of IT equipment and assets
- Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting to users for hardware, software, applications, network connectivity and related IT issues
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems within the required response and resolution time
- Escalate complex issues to the regional MIS team or relevant vendors when necessary
- Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure proper resolution
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for network, server and connectivity issues
- Assist in maintaining system availability, stability and reliable day-to-day IT operations
About you
- Coordinate and conduct basic IT/system training for users
- Provide guidance on company IT systems, applications, security practices and procedures
- Support users when new systems, applications, processes or updates are introduced
- Act as the primary IT contact and liaison for the Bangkok office, working closely with the MIS team in Malaysia
- Communicate local IT requirements, incidents and operational matters to the regional team
- Coordinate implementation of regional MIS projects, system changes, upgrades and IT policies in the Bangkok office
- Ensure company IT security policies, access controls and data protection procedures are followed
- Support implementation of security updates, software patches and other preventive measures
- Report potential IT security risks or incidents promptly to the appropriate team
