Engineering Specialist (Procurement)

Job Description :

1. Handle the purchasing of equipment and services for Telecom Network, which requires engineering skills and knowledge Telecom Network and solid Telecom Business Background and good procurement behavior.
2. Review and prepare information to present commercial information to the Purchasing Committee.
3. Conduct price check/analysis, compare rationale of price and prepare a document to request approval for purchasing of equipment and services for Telecommunication Network Maintenance Agreement and Charging and Billing System.
4. Coordinate with the user/requester to conduct PR preparation.
5. Conduct PO preparation.
6. Review the information and propose comments for consideration of the proposal from the vendor in Renewal of Maintenance Agreement Frame Contract.
7. Prepare cost information for Telecommunication Network Maintenance Agreement and Charging and Billing System to Operation Team for preparing annual or project budget.
8. Improve the procurement process, both systematic and work process.

Telecom Network consists of the following components.

• Radio Access Network, which includes NodeB, eNodeB, gNodeB, and the 3G/4G/5G wireless network
• Mobile Core Network, which includes MSS, EPC, IMS, HSS/UDM, and the 3G/4G/5G core network
• Transport Network, which includes IPRAN, DWDM, Optical Fiber, OSP, and Microwave
• Fix Broadband Network (FBB), which includes OLT, ODN, ONU, and Optical Fiber
• Telecom Maintenance Agreement, Charging and Billing System

Requirement for Applicant :

1. Have a Bachelor’s or Higher in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering
2. Possess solid knowledge of Mobile Network and Telecommunication Network.
3. Possess experience in planning and/or operation of Radio Access Network or Mobile Core Network as an added benefit.
4. Willing to learn new things, resilient and keen to work in procurement.
5. Ability to read, write, speak, and listen in English. (You need 600 on the TOEIC)
