Our ambition The Opportunity Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Bangkok is offering internship opportunities to students who are interested in getting first-hand experience working in the Bangkok office of a leading global law firm. Internship opportunities are available for law students. You will work alongside our partners and associates on tasks and projects for our clients, giving you a chance to gain a real insight into the depth and breadth of our practice areas. This opportunity will allow you to meet partners, associates from Bangkok as well as from across our global network. In addition, you may also be involved in workshops and presentations and invited to a range of formal and informal social events. By the end of your internship, you should have a good idea of whether a career with an international law firm is right for you – and whether you could be a part of Herbert Smith Freehills. In order to be eligible for our Bangkok Internship Scheme, you must:

• be currently in penultimate or final year of law degree, or a recent law graduate (Second year law students are welcome to apply);
• be fluent in Thai and English;
• be able to live and work legally in Bangkok;
• be able to travel to Bangkok office during the period of internship;
• commit to a minimum of 2 months of internship in order to maximise the benefits of this scheme both for you and for the firm;
• be a self-motivated individual with outstanding achievements in academic and extra-curricular activities and a team player with excellent organisation and communication skills. Internship Period The internship scheme runs for two months in June and July 2027. Application Information Applications for the 2027 internship scheme will close on 30 September 20 26 . If your initial application is successful, you'll be interviewed by the partners or senior associates in our Bangkok office.
